Described as guitar rock that hails it's influences from Rush, Husker Du, and The Replacements, the band is the brainchild of longtime Seattle resident and songwriter Patrick Porter. COLLIDER is a one album project collaboration between me and long time musical partner Matt Edington. The E.P. has often been characterized as the darker side of my music. Big rock sounds accompanied by Matt's sweeping string production style. Released May 2009.

Shortly after releasing my first solo E.P. I met, wrote, and recorded an E.P. for FARSCAPE Actress and singer Gigi Edgley. ...So It Seems explores the more electronic side to my songwriting as Gigi and I collaborated to create a unique sound for her a la Bjork and The Sundays. Released November 2007.

Songs From The Orange Room is the first solo offering I released after years of writing for and fronting my band LAYMANS TERMS. Purposely lighter and more poppy than my previous works, the E.P. was a liberation from what I had always thought my music could only be. Released November 2007.

Everything You Love And Hate is the final album from LAYMANS TERMS, the band I fronted from age 15-24. The last of our 5 album run, the disc signified the end of an era for me and evokes themes of change as it was recorded during the time 9/11 public fear and world climates. Released Spring 2002.
